Boise/Elliot - Technically most of the Boise/Elliot neighborhood is in North Portland, but it is often considered to be part of NE.  If for no other reason than the style and sensibility seems more NE PDX than NoPo, I think it’s fair to consider it this way.  Boise is young and hip and growing hipper all the time.  Within a few minutes to downtown, Alberta Arts, Concordia, Overlook or other hot spots, Boise is perfect for hipsters on the move.  For local flair, brewpubs, restaurants, cafes and shopping, Mississippi Ave is not to be missed.  Vibrant, colorful and fun its a Portland version of Melrose.

Cully- Bordered by Concordia, Beaumont-Wilshire and Roseway, Cully is an interesting mix of commercial and residential property.  Cully’s proximity to shopping, eateries and the like, along with its overall affordability makes Cully a hot spot for first time buyers and young families.

Madison - From Wikipedia: Notable features of Madison South include Rocky Butte, an inactive volcanic cinder cone; the Grotto, a Catholic nature sanctuary; and the Alameda Ridge, a gravel bar left over from the Missoula Floods. Notable structures include Madison High School, Gregory Heights Middle School, the MAX Light Rail NE 82nd Ave Station, and the international headquarters of Banfield Pet Hospitals.

PiedmontLike Boise-Elliot, Piedmont is perfect for anyone who loves to move around the city.  Centrally located for quick commutes (via car, bus, max or bike) to Overlook, Arbor Lodge, Alberta Arts, Concordia, Downtown and more, Piedmont is fast becoming one of NE Portland’s more popular communities.  With easy access to the MAX line, a newer New Seasons and ethnically diverse restaurant options, Piedmont offers something for everyone.
